Extreme Rules 2015

Extreme Rules will air on June 4th on the WWE Network. (WWE)

Extreme Rules, the latest WWE pay-per-view, is now just hours away.

This is the annual WWE pay-per-view which started in 2009 and which always features matches with hardcore stipulations. Tonight’s event will include a fatal five-way, a Kendo Stick on a Pole match, a Steel Cage match, a submission match, and a mixed tag team match. There is also a match in which the championship will be dropped even if the champion is disqualified.

The main event of Extreme Rules is a match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Bálor, Bray Wyatt, and Samoa Joe. The winner will go on to face Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire next month.

Also worth keeping an eye on is the Intercontinental Championship match between Dean Ambrose and The Miz. That’s the match where the championship can be lost even if Dean Ambrose is disqualified, and most fans are of the belief that The Miz will win tonight.

Extreme Rules will begin at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the WWE Network. Check back in throughout the show for match results and spoilers for the event.
