Rick and Morty season 3 continues on July 30 and a trailer for the new season has been released. Fan are incredibly excited and analyzing every scene. But as you watch the trailer over and over, you might be wondering what the theme song for the trailer is called.
The song you hear in the trailer is Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal.

It’s not a new song. It was actually released back in 2009 by British rapper Dizzee Rascal, with American producer Armand Van Helden. This was Dizee’s second number one single and it was Van Helden’s third number one single after a decade.

The song was the perfect choice for the trailer. Fans are already discussing every possible facet of the trailer, including how many times Pickle Rick appeared, and the fact that Jerry is making an appearance again, despite the fact that he and Beth are getting a divorce. (At least, they are according to Episode 1 of Season 3.)
Some fans were hoping we’d see more than a trailer during the live stream event on Thursday. In fact, rumors were circulating that we might actually be able to see Episode 2 itself. But early on during the event, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland shared that a new episode would not be making an appearance. But the did reveal the premiere date of Season 3 and share a trailer. After that, the duo did a couple impromptu, non-canon scripts for the audience, including one where Morty goes to Space School.
