During the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match at WWE Backlash tonight, Tyler Breeze dressed as a janitor and an old woman, firing up the crowd in Chicago, Illinois.
Before the match, Tyler Breeze and Fandango had another one of their Fashion Police segments, and this time, Breeze was dressed in disguise as a janitor. Fandango was temporarily fooled into thinking his tag team partner was someone else.
But much to the surprise of WWE viewers, Tyler Breeze remained in his janitor costume as he entered for the actual match, and he subsequently performed like that and even used a mop as part of the action.
The crowd in Chicago was quite into this, beginning to chant “Mop!” the same way they chant “Ten!” for Tye Dillinger. Soon enough, Breeze’s mop was broken in half, which got The Usos some serious heel heat.
That wasn’t the end of Breeze’s costumes, though. He soon appeared back in the match dressed as an old woman for no apparent reason, which caused the crowd in Chicago to erupt in laughter and chant “Let’s go grandma!” Fandango’s dress was soon ripped off and thrown at John “Bradshaw” Layfield, who quipped that the last time this happened to him, he had to pay for it.
For the last half of the match, Tyler Breeze just performed in his usual costume, and the team was ultimately defeated by The Usos.
Still, as a result of these gimmicks, the crowd in Chicago was actually much louder during this Tag Team Championship match than they were during the opening match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler.
