The body of a missing 24-year-old Nebraska woman has been located, her family says. A post on the Facebook page dedicated to finding Sydney Loofe, who went missing after going on a Tinder date November 15, indicated that her body was recovered by authorities Monday.

The post cited a short article by MyAntelopeCountyNews.com, which said her parents announced that her body had been recovered after an intensive search brought in multiple agencies, including the F.B.I., acting on hundreds of leads. Further details surrounding her death haven’t been disclosed by the family or authorities.

Loofe had last been seen in the Wilber, Nebraska, and her cell phone last pinged a tower in the area before powering off.

During the past week, two people who the Lincoln Police Department named as “persons of interests” turned themselves into police in Missouri on unrelated warrants and had been sitting in jail on a federal hold as investigators continued to question them. Aubrey Trail, 51, and Bailey Boswell, 23, had posted numerous videos to social media since they were named as persons of interest. Both of them denied having anything to do with Loofe’s disappearance, but Boswell said she was the woman who Loofe went on a Tinder date November 15. She said that the pair met each other the night before (November 14) and went on a date and agreed to meet up the next night.

On the night of November 15, she said that she picked up Loofe from her residence, and they went back to Boswell’s home. Once there, Boswell said they smoked marijuana and she handed her 1/4 ounce of weed.

I went to take her home and she asked me to drop her off at a friends house, so I did so,” Boswell said in the video. “I gave her my number, we were planning on going to the casino that weekend. I haven’t heard from her since. I just, I really don’t even know what else to say.”

Boswell said she felt sorry for Loofe’s family, adding that she “didn’t have anything to do with” her disappearance.

“I hope that Sydney is found very soon, she is a sweet, amazing girl,” she said.

Trail said in the video that he’s also offering his support and prayers to the Loofe family.

“I pray for Sydney, I hope she’s found soon,” he said in the video. “I wish the family the best, I’m sorry that she wasn’t with you on Thanksgiving.”

Trail has an extensive criminal record which extends into multiple states. He was sentenced to prison for writing multiple bad checks, and has several other thefts on his record.
