‘Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions’ is Real and Coming to 3DS

Nintendo officially announced Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions during their Nintendo Treehouse presentation during E3 2017.

The game is a remade version of the Game Boy Advance game from 2003, praised for its funny story, fun platforming challenges, and twist on the RPG formula by having the player control the two brothers simultaneously and having them jump and attack with their own dedicated buttons. The game has two sequels on the Nintendo DS (Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story) and two sequels on the 3DS (Mario and Luigi: Dream Team and Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam).

The remake also includes Bowser’s Minions, a spin off starring the enemies of Mario and Friends.

Rumors of the game actually existed since last April when Twitter user @SciresM found evidence of the game on the Nintendo eShop. He examined the new update on the eShop’s title ID database and found reference to the remake.
