Tonight on the WWE Network, the Backlash 2017 pay-per-view will take place. So how long is this event expected to be? When will it start and end?

Like most standard WWE pay-per-views, Backlash will be about three hours long, beginning at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time and wrapping up at roughly 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

However, some of these pay-per-views end up concluding a bit closer to 10:45 p.m Eastern Time. For instance, Payback, the most recent WWE pay-per-view, ended at 10:45 p.m. Before that, Fastlane wrapped up at 11:03 p.m., and Elimination Chamber wrapped up at 11:04 p.m.

Because Backlash airs on the WWE’s own network, they don’t really have to end by any specific time, and so exactly how long the show is will depend on what best suits the story. However, in general WWE pay-per-views clock in at about three hours.

The main event of Backlash is expected to be the World Championship match between Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal. Also likely positioned near the end of the show will be the United States Championship match between Kevin Owens and AJ Styles.

Before Backlash even begins, there will be a kickoff show at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. There will be one match on the kickoff: a contest between Tye Dillinger and Aiden English.

The other matches on Backlash include the match between The Usos and Breezango, Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, and Becky Lynch, Naomi and Charlotte and Natalya, Carmella and Tamina.
