‘Heroes of the Storm’ Anniversary Event Rewards

66

Heroes of the Storm is celebrating its second birthday this week and everyone is benefiting from the occasion.

The popular MOBA is celebrating its anniversary starting today, May 30, and running until June 12. Players will be able to collect a loot chest every day if they play at least one game per day. This game could be against the AI, Quick Match, Unranked or Ranked. All you have to do is finish the game and you’re treated a new loot box.

There is an event quest going on that will require you to play at least three games. These games could also be VS. AI, Quick Match, Unranked or Ranked. If you complete those three matches, you’ll be rewarded with the Anniversary Portrait, Spray and Banner. These items are exclusive to the anniversary event and will not be able to be obtained elsewhere once the event concludes.

Heroes of the Storm Anniversary Event

Heroes of the Storm isn’t the only Blizzard game celebrating its birthday this week. Overwatch is currently in the midst of its anniversary event celebrating its first birthday. Overwatch’s event makes it a little bit harder to get some exclusive items. Players have a chance of getting new legendary skins and dancing emotes through loot boxes. Nothing is guaranteed with their event so it will take some more time to obtain the items.

Earlier this month, Heroes of the Storm debuted D.Va into the Nexus as a new playable hero. This comes on the heels of Genji joining the expansive roster as part of patch 2.0 last month. Both characters feature similar skill sets to their Overwatch counterparts and feel right at home in Heroes of the Storm.

Will you be logging in some time this week to unlock these exclusive items in Heroes of the Storm? Let us know in the comments below and we’ll see you in the Nexus.
