Max Ehrich is doing what it takes to stay safe following a bizarre run-in with a real estate agent.

The actor, best known for his work on “The Young and the Restless,” was viewing a property in the Los Angeles area when an agent got a little too close.

According to TMZ, the unnamed agent attempted to come on to Ehrich, 27. When the star declined the agent’s sexual advances, the agent allegedly pulled a gun on Ehrich.

The bizarre run-in left the star feeling uncomfortable and unsafe.

On Wednesday, he took to Instagram to show he’s hired security to protect him until the situation is sorted out.

“Just wanted to update you guys that I am safe & secure,” he captioned a snapshot of a security guard sitting on the end of a bed. “I appreciate the messages. Don’t take your safety for granted. There really are some sick people out there. Stay safe.”

Ehrich played Fenmore Baldwin on “The Young and the Restless” from 2012 to 2015. He’s since appeared on “Embeds,” “Sweet/Vicious” and “American Princess.”

A request for comment from Ehrich’s team wasn’t immediately returned.
