Talk about a modeling gig for the books. Robyn Lawley is the first ever plus-size model to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition—and she looks beyond amazing on the pages. Lawley, a model from Australia who has walked the runways in Milan and appeared in advertising campaigns for countless brands, including Lane Bryant, Mango, and H&M, appears as a rookie in the magazine’s 2015 edition, which goes on sale Feb. 9.

“I’m so excited, I’m dying—I’m dying!” the Aussie beauty told Time of her spread in SI. In the photo, which was shot in Jackson Hole, Wyo., Lawley seductively poses in front of breathtaking scenery. The U.S. size 12 model, who designs her own eponymous line of swimwear, wears a python-print bikini with orange trim.

“I never thought that this would happen to me, so this is a milestone,” she continues. “When I started my career 10 years ago, I had to painfully go to castings and people would look at you and say, ‘What the hell are you doing here?’… I want to be there for the regular girls who are my size.”
